“[Hypnosis] has been used to counter the nausea of pregnancy and chemotherapy; dental and test-taking anxiety; pain associated with surgery, root canal treatment and childbirth; fear of flying and public speaking; compulsive hair-pulling; and intractable hiccups, among many other troublesome health problems.”

We all experience pain and discomfort. It may be a headache or cramps. It may be due to an injury. It may be due to chronic conditions like fibromyalgia and endometriosis.
There are many different solutions for pain management. Many people will use medication. However, for many others, medication doesn’t work effectively. There are also many people who are seeking relief without the use of medication, particularly for those who experience chronic pain and do not want to be medicated every day.
Medical hypnosis is an AMA-approved strategy for pain relief. Web MD describes the hypnosis process as such: “The American Society of Clinical Hypnotists likens hypnosis to using a magnifying glass to focus the rays of the sun and make them more powerful. When our minds are concentrated and focused, we are able to use them more powerfully. When hypnotized, a person may experience physiologic changes, such as a slowing of the pulse and respiration, and an increase in alpha brain waves. The person may also become more open to specific suggestions and goals, such as reducing pain.”
There have been many studies that have proven hypnosis to be an effective tool for pain management. Here on this website, you will gain the tools to manage your chronic pain and seek the relief you have been waiting for. There is nothing more difficult to living in pain.
